A Christmas garden in an empty mall unit
A walk-through Christmas world in the Dutch garden-centre tradition. Everything you see is for sale. Every partner is paid from what sells, and nobody pays up front.
The proof
In the Netherlands, a garden centre’s Christmas show is a day out
Dutch garden centres turn whole halls into Christmas worlds every autumn, and families travel to see them. Nothing like it exists in the Helsinki region yet.
Sources: Omroep Brabant (Halsteren size and visitors); Go-Kids (Duiven season dates).

The concept
One empty unit becomes a walk-through Christmas world
Themed rooms, not aisles
A route through styled worlds: forest, village, Nordic table, kids’ corner.
Everything has a price tag
The decor is the stock. Visitors buy what they see, styled as they saw it.
A food stop at the end
Glögi, coffee and local food vendors keep people in the mall longer.
Free entry
Footfall drives sales. Paid timed slots only on peak evenings, if at all.
Open for two months
November to early January, the whole Christmas season.
For malls
An empty unit costs you every day. This one pulls people in.
A reason to visit
A destination for families across the region, not just a passing shop.
Longer stays
A slow route plus food. Visitors who stay longer spend more in your other stores.
Income from dead space
A share of turnover instead of zero, and a lit, busy unit instead of papered windows.
No risk for partners
Nobody commits until everybody has
Location
Landlord letter of intent, conditional on the other partners.
Anchor supplier
Letter of intent, conditional on the location.
Clubs and food
Volunteer clubs and food vendors sign up.
Go or no-go
One fixed date. All signed, it’s on. One missing, everyone walks away free.

Partner with us
We’re looking for a unit, a supplier and the clubs to build it
Mall owners, decoration wholesalers, food vendors and local associations: tell us what you could bring. The first step is a non-binding letter of intent.
